Employee Assistance Program

Everyday stress and anxiety. A death in the family. A child going away to college. A cross-country move. Turn to the Employee Assistance Program (EAP), available 24/7 for support and resources to help balance life's challenges.
Who's Eligible
- All United States and Puerto Rico Coworkers
- All household members of all Coworkers
- You do not have to be enrolled in any Office Depot benefits to participate
How it Works
You don’t have to face life’s challenges alone — free, confidential help is available immediately through the EAP for you and your household members. Coworkers and household members do not need to participate in any other Office Depot benefits to access this resource. Counseling is completely confidential and available in whatever format works best for you — in person, by text message, live chat, phone, or video conference.
The EAP provides confidential information and guidance with:
- Stress management
- Depression and anxiety
- Marriage and relationship issues
- Finding care for an aging parent
- Legal concerns
- Financial planning and more
You’re automatically enrolled in this benefit, and Office Depot covers the cost because supporting your peace of mind is a priority.
Note: All services are provided by a third party and kept completely confidential. Your participation is never shared with Office Depot.
Five Free Counseling Sessions
You and any household member can book up to five face-to-face or virtual counseling sessions per issue, per year, totally free. Schedule an appointment with a licensed professional counselor for confidential online or in-person sessions during times that work for you, even evenings and weekends. Choose from a network of caring clinicians who can help with a range of personal and work-related concerns.
Legal & Financial Services
You and your family may experience legal and financial hurdles at some point, which can lead to stress and worry. Meet for a free consultation with an expert to build a budget, plan for the future, or get guidance on managing debt. Get help resolving legal matters such as estate planning and family law, or research and print your own state-specific legal forms.
Work-Life Support
We can help you successfully navigate personal, work, and family concerns. We provide referral services related to child and eldercare, education, growing families, consumer resources, home maintenance and repair, and daily living resources completely free.
